The designer's eye
Two decades reading lines, layouts and build quality, so the advice you receive is grounded in how a yacht truly performs — not how it's marketed.
An award-winning superyacht designer and trusted advisor to family offices, royalty, and individuals as their yacht broker — guiding a discerning few through charter, purchase, sale, new build and refit — all backed by world-leading yacht management — with a couturier's eye for detail.
Alastair Callender has lived the superyacht world from both sides of the drawing board. He began as a designer — earning international recognition for Soliloquy, his 190ft (58m) zero-emission concept, and a Condé Nast Traveller Innovation & Design Award — before bringing that rare technical fluency to yacht brokerage.
Since 2005 he has advised owners and charter guests on the vessels that define a life's most memorable chapters. In 2020 he launched the Americas region for Moravia Yachting, the historic Monaco brokerage house and part of the Hill Robinson Group, the world leader in yacht management.
The result is counsel few can offer: the instinct of a designer who understands how a yacht is conceived, and the discretion of a broker who knows how the finest deals are done.
Beyond brokerage, Alastair is Exclusive Yachting Partner to the Queen Elizabeth II Commonwealth Trust and an Advisor to the United Nations Foundation — bringing purpose to a life spent on the water.
